The Low Key Tiki Cutie's held its 2nd Annual Second Hand event Monday, Nov. 4, at Low Key Tiki.

"This is our second annual event that we've dubbed the 'Low Key Cutie's Second Hand Run,'" organizer Barb Riordan said. "We have a group of 30-40 ladies who participated this year."

The way the "Second Hand Run" works is, each member places her name and clothing sizes on an entry card. Then members select a card and purchase an outfit from any local second hand store the spending limit is $10. Each member then accessorizes her outfit any way she wants.

"There are a few small rules including no spandex, lingerie or anything that would make someone uncomfortable," Riordan said. "The idea is to have fun with the outfit and some of them were pretty wild."

After photos were taken at Low Key Tiki, the group made its way via golf cart caravan to the American Legion and Ragged Ass Saloon before returning to Low Key Tiki before dark.

Participants in this year's "Second Hand Run" included Tammy Anderson, Helen Banther, Krissy Bates, Pat Baxman, Jenn Bryan, Kathy Callaway, Joyce Cooper, Tricia Crowley, Greer Cubic, Guylyn DeMeyere, Veronica Dodge, Mary Fowler, Pam Halligan, Jean Hecht, Heather Hoffman, Susan Johnson, Amy Jones, Athena Ludlam, Amber Mugerdichian, Annie Nicholson, Becky Reed, Barb Riordan, Maureen Rocheleau, Angie Romero, Nicole Secorski, Cindy Sibson, Donna Smith, Erin Smith, Chris Spradling, Beth Sweet and Judy Warfield.

The Low Key Tiki is located at 3135 Stringfellow Road in St. James City.
