A lesson in common sense

August 1, 2018
Pine Island Eagle

To the editor:

If you have a rattlesnake on the property, you get rid of it. If you have a mad dog on your property, you get rid of it. If your car is defective, you have it fixed. In other words, if something is a threat, you take care of it. And yes, I'm still talking about the trees along Stringfellow Road especially the ones north of Tropical Point where the wires cross Stringfellow. Not only will it knock out the electric but it will block the road coming and going. Now think of it, if you had to go to the hospital, no vehicle of any sort will be able to get through. Our politicians don't seem to care, so what else is new. There are quite a few other places along Stringfellow, too. I hope you're not a victim.
