Hamilton-Franklin Realty, a Lee County-based real estate brokerage, has opened a new office at 4204 Pine Island Road in Matlacha. The brokerage, founded in 2011, expanded its services and availability to the Pine Island area by opening and renovating this new office location late last year.

The grand opening is Saturday, Jan. 28, from noon until 6 p.m.

"I was approached with the idea by several of our Pine Island-based sales professionals," owner and broker Paul Faragoi said. "The location on Matlacha was chosen after careful consideration of approximately 10 different areas"

Agents in the office on Matlacha include long-time Pine Island residents Lori Caldwell, Joyce Sass, Bonnie Mullee and Eric Theune.

"We're very excited to be here in Matlacha," Sass said. "This office is the first real estate office people will see as they enter Matlacha and we want this office to be considered as a welcome center for Matlacha and Pine Island."

"We want our office to stand out by doing some things a little different," Mullee said. "We have used books on hand that we've collected. We call them 'Beach Books' that people can purchase and the money that we raise we will donate to a local charity. We have lots of charities on the island and we want to give back to the community."

"The grand opening is scheduled for January 28 from noon until 6 p.m.," Sass said. "We will have food from many of the local restaurants serving appetizers: Island Cafe, Island Pho' and Grill, the new Hurricane Hideout, Blue Dog and CW Fudge for some sweets. We are also displaying art from local artists and at the grand opening we will raffle off some art to some lucky winner.

""The agents here have all lived on Matlacha and Pine Island for many years and the wealth of knowledge in this office can't be beat," Sass said. "The idea behind this new office is to have residents and tourists be able to access a real estate brokerage with a no pressure sales approach."

The company is also looking to expand its sales team and is actively pursuing licensed associates that want to be of service to the area. Hamilton-Franklin Realty also hosts the website www.ForSaleOn-PineIsland.com for individuals looking to browse the current inventory on the Island.

Agent Eric Theune has sold millions of dollars worth of real estate over the years in Matlacha. His motto is "disclosure, honesty and integrity are my hallmarks. I am an expert negotiator, I will always get you the lowest price possible for your next home and I will also sell your house for the highest possible price in the shortest amount of time. I am a professional realtor and I am at your service."

"Choosing the right real estate agent is the first step in purchasing or selling a home," Sass said. "When it comes to deciding on an agent to work with, it's all about the details. From suggesting mortgage lenders to explaining signing papers, I am here to make this normally daunting experience a smooth and successful transaction."

Sass has been licensed since 2003 and is a Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource specialist (SFR), as well as an Accredited Buyers Representative.

Mullee has been an active Florida real estate agent since 2002.

"Achieving your property ownership goals is my objective, regardless if you are looking for vacation rental, second home, primary home, commercial property or land," she said. "I understand the waterways and canal systems here and in Cape Coral. My job is to learn what you want and narrow down our time and efforts by listening to what you want and taking you to those places that fit."

Gwen Galpin is another agent in the office.

"My husband and I have vacationed here on Pine Island for 20 years, before buying our home in Bokeelia in 2005," she said. "It was the fishing, boating and spending time in this amazing estuary that developed into my motto, 'Hooked on Paradise.' I've always have had an intense passion for the real estate industry, and enjoy working with sellers and investors to achieve their real estate goals. I also welcome the opportunity to help buyers find their own slice of paradise."

Agent Judi Cason is a lifelong resident of Pine Island with expertise knowledge of the trends of the real estate market.
