Santa Claus was seated in his chair at the front door as CW Fudge held its third annual Holiday Open House recently.
"This is our third annual open house and we use this to 'kick off' the holiday season on Pine Island," CW Fudge co-owner William Tidball said. "This also helps to promote the Beacon of HOPE's Holiday House in a couple of weeks. Tonight we are introducing our fudge flavors for the Christmas season as well as our Thanksgiving flavors."
Christmas season fudge flavors for 2016 are Fruitcake, Eggnog, Ginger-bread, Peppermint Bark, Candy Cane, Red Velvet, Snowy Road, Hollyberry, Snowball, Cranberry Walnut and Chocolate Pecan.

Thanksgiving fudge flavors included Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Cheesecake and Pumpkin Pralline.
Shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, Santa flipped the switch officially opening the event.
"We think of our open house as the preview of the Beacon's Holiday House. I hope everyone comes out for Holiday House," Tidball said. "CW Fudge will be there with all our Holiday flavors. Every year it just keeps getting bigger and better. This year's Holiday House kicks off on Thursday, Dec. 1, and Santa arrives by boat at 5 p.m."
